Brian Cooke has submitted a superb picture of a recent catch, a twaite shad caught from St Mullins on the river Barrow. They only run the rivers to spawn and we are nearing the end of the run if you want to get there quick... tasmanian devils seem to be the ideal lure.
Check the gallery page 4 - we've revised it to allow more pictures on each page and in some cases double clicking on the thumbnail will give you access to the full sized picture.
BTW, we gave the shore prize for April to Young Sean O'Neill for his first flounder and we had no entries for the boat competition - although May looks like being a lot better! Send us your pics! Thanks
