Laytown Beach Competition LSAC 28.06.2020

Equipment: 15ft Shakespeare Agility Surf Rod - 3 hook paternoster with 1/0 chinu hooks with green and black beads & 5oz grip lead. Bite detection bells.
Bait: Ragworm & Peeler Crab.
Conditions: Overcast with strong winds and scattered showers.
Result: 27cm Flounder (My PB)

So I attended my second beach competition run by Loughshinny SAC and I actually won it with a 27cm flounder! I caught it on my first cast to peeler crab and then nothing for the rest of the day. Still won 18 euro so was delighted

I forgot to take a picture in my hurry to get him back in the water after measurement though
