Fished Streedagh Point on Tuesday 10th August And Easky Pier on 12th August.
Fished off the Rocks to the left of the shingle beach at Streedagh into really foul ground using rotton bottoms. Got 4 Ballan wrasse with the largest about 4lb using rag. Difficult to play as they dive down into the bottom and refuse to move! Lost a number of big wrasse because of this. Tried spinning using various lures and feathers with no joy.
Easky pier is a serious Ballan Wrasse mark with a fish on every cast!. Landed too many to count however rag did not last long. Largest about 3lb.
Got 1 small pollack spinning using feathers.
