Children's Crab Fishing Competition in aid of the RNLI

When: All Summer long, now until August 31st
Where: Clifden Beach
How: Go to the Boardwalk Café @ Clifden Boat Club to get a crab line with a bait net (no hooks), bait and an entry form.
€1.00 Entry fee (goes to the RNLI) + €4.00 Returnable deposit for the use Crab line or you are welcome to bring your own without having to pay the deposit.
Go Fishing!
Take your biggest crab you catch back to the Boardwalk Café for measuring, measurement is taken across the back. After measuring return all your catch back to the water.
By the end of the Summer whoever catches the Biggest Crab wins a Shakespeare® Ugly Stik® Fishing Kit
Rules: Open to all kids ages 13 and under (younger kids will have to be accompanied).
Crab fishing at Clifden Beach only.
You may enter as often as you wish.

anyone heading with the family to clifden bay for the ray fishing please support this as it is for a very good cause and there is a nice prize for the kid who wins

to find the Boardwalk Café turn left at supervalu and just after the bank of Ireland the road splits,take the road to the left and downhill,follow it to the end
