Two silly questions.

1st question is, What is organic bait? and the 2nd is, Has anyone ever tried using shrimp as bait and is it possible to collect it or set traps for it around the east coast?

Organic Bait

Thats a good question. Usually an organic bait is a bait which is natural to them and lives in the area the fish feed. For example cod love lugworm but where some anglers catch them on lugworm they find them stuffed with hermit crab, limpet and hardback crab even though we are always told that peeler is better! Fish may regularly eat a certain food but may prefer something which isn't as common to them. Therefore an organic bait would be a bait which you know the fish in that particular area are eating every day of the week even when you are not fishing.

Oh and I'm not too sure about the shrimp even though I've heard it can be used as bait aswell as prawn.
