hi, im down that way and will have a few hours each evening - not after any particular species, just hoping for a few bites

is that loughbeg beach any use or should i be looking to deeper water - what about digging lug is there suitable mude

are the beaches in that area very shallow?

High water Sunday 5th. 18:00, 4.2mt
High water Monday 6th. 18:50, 4.2mt
They are big tides to be fishing inside the harbour. The weather, wind and rain, will play a big part in any plan.
If you can fish an hour either side of high water you could try Monkstown pier or head up the "de wall".
Currabinny pier will throw up a few fish but nothing great.

ok if it isint blowing a hooley it might be better to go to open water - try that beach at Ballyfoyle/rocky bay/roberts cove - 30 min drive

Fountainstown beach is not a bad spot for small whiting, dogs and the odd thornback. Fish baits will do fine for these. You can dig lug and maddies at the back of the west beach.
