That's a grey gurnard Minnesota. They too can sometimes have the blue along the pectoral fins but they are the only gurnard to have that dark spot on the dorsal fin. They don't grow as big as the other gurnard species.
Keep us posted on your ventures, nice to hear how you are getting on. Hopefully you'll catch something of note! :)

Oh ok! Good to know, would've went into the species list as a tub if you hadn't said anything! Couldn't find any pictures about the blue along the pectoral fins for a grey or a red so I figured it was a tub. Looks like tomorrow will be a bust unless I can get out early tomorrow morning with the hurricane coming in. Went up to Ashford today and went fishing with the Guide there, only caught a small 20 inch Pike but it's something!
