Hi
I've read a lot about tapered leaders, and how they're designed etc. They seem to be ideal, I've done a bit of research and I've decided on a Daiwa Tournament Tapered Leader.
Now,
From reading on a few forums I've picked up that some people change their leader often (every 1 or 2 sessions). When I've used regular shockleaders I've changed them every month or 2 depending on how much I get out. Are tapered leaders any different and do they need to be changed more often? I usually go out fishing twice a fortnight. How often would you lads change your leaders, tapered ones in particular, and also, would the brand named above be good quality?
Thanks a mil
E

That leader you mentioned above is very good stuff pricey to tho,I only ever use tapered leaders on fixed spools thats just me tho an cut off a good bit of the tapered end it makes it a bit stronger from snapping when snagged up etc
