what weight is 87 cm bass

lads dose any one know what size weight a 87 cm sea bass would come in at thanks

Apparently you could half work it out with the girth included but not a hope with length alone really - it could be skinny, a pig, and at nearly 3 feet though its a good Bass but impossible to estimate.

If you Google "fish length to weight" you'll find anglingaddicts, they give a weight of 14lb 9oz for 87cm. I've compared their figures for some species like wrasse, flounder, whiting and found them close enough to my results but can't comment for bass.

Would be difficult to put an accurate weight on an individual fish like that. Regardless of weight, that is one special fish to catch!, and very old. Well done on the catch, fish of a lifetime.
