How are ye lads?

A friend has asked me about fishing the Shannon Estuary it is something he has always wanted to do.

Has anybody fished it lately, and what species could one expect this time of year? Im assuming the Rays will be starting to move in about now?

Any information or marks, tides, bait, species would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Seank

Shannon - fish 2 hours either side low water on big tides, for thornback rays, stingray, bass, dogfish, mullet and bullhuss

Funny, I drove past all the marks including Glin on the other day on the way back from Kerry, would have wet a line if I had not had the family with me...
Filthy brown water, looked ideal.
