Ballycastle beach heavily weeded tonight, also reports of Cushendun beach clogged with weed and leaves. Stormy surf and strong onshore winds contributed :(

waterfoot beach was tide was coming with weed which now is laying out beach .
carnlough was clear both beachs.
ballygally had weed on but not dig into the sand.
glenarm was clear but not at the carpark.

Ballycastle beach was weedy last weekend. :( Hope it's better this weekend!

Glenarm clear , but leaves and debrie coming in on the hooks of the bottom

Hi, I fancy heading up East Strand direction tomorrow but am fearful that it may be weeded out. Has anyone seen it today? Thanks.

2014 shore (27): flounder, plaice, turbot, dab, coalfish, pollock, codling, mackerel, silver eel, pouting, 5b rockling, whiting, LSD, GSD, tope, smoothhound, ballan&corkwing wrasse, thornback & painted ray, tub gurnard, bass, common blenny, rock goby, haddock, LSSS, poor cod
