Anyone used Circle hooks on their shore traces, Do they work well?

Ive used them for a while now and have to admit Im very impressed! I find the main advantage is that fish tend to be mouth hooked rather than belly hooked - although they do have their limitations ie using worms is a little tricky

when fishing the "HARD" stuff, and I don't mean drink I found circle hooks less likley to catch in the weed, rocks and kelp beds and to hold the point better than J's

I also found a good way of using the old worm baits to great effect which also included tipping the bait

all in all very good

im a big fan of circle hooks from the boat but off the beach im not sure, circle hooks work for fish that pick up the bait and run with it ie tope,
from the shore whiting are terrible for attacking the bait and running bit i used circle hooks for them and i found i had better results using virivas saltwater champs size 1s they are razor sharp...
