Kinsale was the top spot for fishing back in my time

Place's like "conger rock" had cod and whiting during the winter and flounder and dogs all year round http://goo.gl/maps/L2KAe

Charles Fort for dogs and conger http://maps.osi.ie/publicviewer/#V1,565438,549350,7,0

Middle cove now the boat yard for dogs

The outer cove was a great place for even more dogs, a great place to go to if you wanted to restore your confidence in catching fish. http://maps.osi.ie/publicviewer/#V1,565929,547995,7,0

There is a new pier just past the hotel a 60mt cast will have you in 15mt of water well worth a cast on slack tides. http://goo.gl/maps/ah7bJ

I'll do out a map of these spots and post it later

The channel is about 60yds out so the big tide would be seen a bit of a run there
