Tide:high at 4pm

Weather:fair, slight breeze

Rigs:Running Ledger and 1 hook clipdown

Results:9 coalies

Catch and Release:: Yes

Report:Fished my favourite mark down past Ards today and had a great time. smallest fish was 1lb and the biggest was 2 1/2 lb. All but 1 came to the running ledger with the bait stuck right on the bottom.

hi contender. nice wee session u had there. wish i could have said the same! experimented a bit with a bait called lazylug which is preserved lugworm and after 15 mins after the first cast i lost all faith in the bait! was it a rock mark or a beach mark u were fishing from?? learn't a lesson today, make the effort to go out and dig bait. :)

Hi RAB, Lazylug sounds good , but probably like all the other preserved stuff and never works. Have tried the sandeel myself and it was no good. I got the rag from mckees and must admit it was in top condition and some of the best i have seen.
