Wexford Bass 22 Aug 09

#1 Post by Danny M. »

People:Baz & Myself

Duration:The morning

Tide: Falling

Weather: the calm before the storm.

Bait: Hard and Soft Plastics

Results: 1 Bass

Report:
The weather system over the past week has coloured the water around Wexford almost to Cadbury’s proportion !
Went out this morning to try and find a patch of water with half decent water clarity to work the lures, unfortunately we failed miserably, all the wet stuff was like weed/kelp soup.
I did manage to tempt one Bass to a kilty bounced along the bottom, a welcome sight he was! I told him to fetch his mother but he didn’t come back

Why does the weather always feck up the Big Tides on us eh !! Its a conspiracy I tell ye :P

Heres for some settled weather !

I thought the weather was always sunny in Wexford? Hard luck lads but sure you don't do too bad when the tides are bad either

Ah sure God loves a tryer !

See that rock pictured, its about 12-15ft high, the conditions were that bad, Baz got up on that rock and lost his Pachinko first cast and thats a fairly bouyant surface lure !
