Evidence of the bloom has been identified in North Clare. Inner Galway bay is showing signs as well.

Was digging lug this evening in north Clare, digging was crap, saw loads of dead lug lying on the surface, and the sand was visibly pink in many places, so it seems to be having an effect here...
